Aternoon Photography Tour – Ubud
PRICING
US $170 for photographers includes hotel pickup, visits to 4 photography locations (markets, nature, portrait, and landscape), one-on-one instruction from a professional photographer, and a traditional Balinese home-cooked meal.
US $100 for non-photographer partner.
In Bali, the afternoon light is truly extraordinary. Our photography experience combines nature, rice fields, landscapes, and a visit to a vibrant local night market. Tours start at 3:30 pm with hotel pickup. We head to an ancient traditional village near Ubud to capture rural Balinese life, including vibrant green rice fields and a pristine, clear river where kids play in the late afternoon amidst the jungle backdrop.
The late afternoon light, with dense jungle and streaming sunbeams, creates a stunning effect unique to Bali.
Around 6:00 pm, we arrive at a Balinese home where a delicious traditional meal awaits. Here, you’ll learn about Balinese village life, and our host family is eager to share their daily life, rituals, and culture—a perfect opportunity for questions over dinner.
Next, we head to the traditional night market for something entirely different. In this colorful, bustling market, you’ll learn to photograph under challenging artificial lighting conditions, capturing great people shots and the fascinating market scene. It’s a local experience away from tourists, offering insight into authentic Balinese life.
Pickup: 3:30 pm from your Ubud hotel (free within a 5 km radius).
Tour ends: 8:00 – 8:30 pm. You’ll be dropped back to your hotel.
