We offer flexible options, including half and full-day photography tours, to fit your schedule and skill level. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or an aspiring enthusiast, our tours will help you uncover the visual treasures of Indonesia one frame at a time.
Full day itinerary
Tour length: 9 hours
- Pre sunrise over the volcanoes and rice terraces.
- River scenes and early morning light in the villages and back roads.
- Visit to a traditional market.
- Rural Bali scenes and back country roads.
- Traditional Villages
- Ancient, Historical Temples
- Special traditional ceremonies when applicable.
- A visit to a Balinese village in Pejeng, nearby Ubud, where lunch is provided and local Balinese dancer from the village performs the Legong dance especially for you (must be minimum 2 participants).
- Coffee and snacks provided, but we do not stop for breakfast, photography is the priority so we suggest you bring a breakfast box from the hotel.
Pickup from your hotel within 5 kilometers of Ubud center is scheduled between 5 and 5:30 am, and you’ll be dropped back at your hotel by 2 pm. We can arrange pickups outside of the area, but there is an additional charge ranging from Rp400,000 to Rp600,000.
Half day itinerary
Tour length: 4.5 hours
These tours are perfect for those with limited time and offer excellent value for money.
We’ll pick you up from your Ubud hotel between 5 and 5:15 am, heading to a picturesque sunrise location to capture the pre-sunrise light and the sun illuminating the rice fields while farmers tend to their work.
Next, we’ll visit a traditional market for portrait and people photography. If time permits, we’ll explore a historic temple for architectural shots.
The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel between 10 and 10:30 am.
While coffee and snacks are provided, we recommend bringing a breakfast box from your hotel.
The same pickup and drop-off rules as those for the Full Day Tour apply.
Pricing
FULL DAY Tour = US $240 (+ US $130 for Non-Photographer Partner)
HALF DAY Tour = US $150 (+ US $80 for Non-Photographer Partner)
Things to bring
- Any type of camera (it can also be just a smartphone with which you take your photographs).
- Your personal camera accessories (Canon and Nikon filters are available for use).
- Extra memory card and spare battery.
- Sun protection (hat and sunscreen), adequate clothes and footwear, mosquito repellent, extra jacket for early morning shoots.
Important note
We require a minimum of 2 people to run the tour. If no one else joins on the day, a single supplement fee of USD 50 will be applied. Non-photographers are welcome to join their partners and experience the cultural aspects of the tour. Payment is required to be completed before the tour takes place.
