I have timed this tour to experience the magnificence of the autumn colours when the fields and mountains come alive during this time of the year.

We begin the photography tour in Tokyo where we meet on November 7 and the next day we head to Mount Fuji area where we will travel by car to photograph this beautiful Iconic landmark and capture it from many angles with the added beauty of the autumn colours . We will search for those beautiful lake reflections in the Fuji five lakes area for diverse views of the Mountain and its surroundings.

This is the best time of the year to see Mount Fuji under clear sky and last year at this time we had perfect cloudless days and managed to capture some awesome photos.

We continue on to the Japan alps and will spend a couple of days in the Kamikochi area which is one of the most beautiful places in Japan to photograph.

And then to Takayama, a charming historical town full of artisans and visit a sake brewery.
Then onto Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan. Kyoto has 1,600 temples and shrines and we will be photographing the ones least visited by tourists as our local guide takes us into some of the very special but hidden away temples and gardens. Kyoto’s timeless beauty offers a plethora of photography opportunities and will be one of the many highlights of the tour.

Then we travel back to Osaka for two days where the tour finishes.
